This is really just a simple test, stand on a rubber mat, wear rubber boots, stand in a wooden chair, anything to completely insulate yourself.  Do not touch your machine with any part of your body except one finger to the touch screen.  Did the touch screen work or not. Yes or No

I answered NO, but that is for capacitive style screens only and I would believe most if not all slot touch screens should be capacitive style.
Grounding not needed for resistive style touch screens.

Instead of all that rubber boots and rubber mats, (Wooden chairs are conductive) just use a roll of electrical tape to press the screen and see.

My smart phone screen doesn't react to a cigarette drawn across it. I don't have a game king, but assumed it would be the same I guess. No ground, no reaction...

THE QUESTION IS NOT FORMED CORRECTLY --SO THE ANSWER CAN NOT BE VALID IF YES OR NO -BECAUSE THE POSTER DOES NOT UNDERSTAND THEORY OF HOW DIFFERENT TOUCH SCREENS WORK OR SPECIFY WHAT MODEL ? -AS THE POSTER SELF ADMITTED HIS OWN EXPERIENCE IS ONLY CERONIX MONITORS ONLY    AS UNIMAN BRIEFLY EXPLAINED DIFF MODELS .
THANK YOU-UNIMAN  . atleast the post did not start off with waxing the carrot -punching the clown as the poster did in a previous post pointed at his so called "expert".what that has to do with touch screens is beyond me & many others on the forum other than a sick individual to even mention that with ladies on the forum .
