Hi,
I'm got may 891 pretty much restored.  When I hit the replay button the cam motor starts and turns for a complete cycle.
Is the that supposed to happen?  It would seem to me that only the odds unit should be turning.

The reason I ask is the previous owner whoever that was did some "rewiring".

Thanks,
Jeff

Offhand I'd say that's right, but I am not familiar with the replay button.
Always noisy in the top unit of those things.

I looked at the replay relay and the wiring there looks to be factory so it must be "right".  You are right it is noisy and really slow....  I suspect this was not a popular machine as a player could hit the replay button faster than the machine could respond - I guess in casino parlance that would be bad karma;) I was of the thought that it was my mistake and not a flaw in the machine's design.  I'm thinking the guy who tried to rewire the feature unit may have tried to pulse the odds unit without going through the cam unit.  You can see how the 2302 would have been a much more successful machine as it could keep up with the player.

Thanks,
jeff
