I'm replacing the caps on my fortune one mpu and am looking for advice on a compatible replacement. The cap in question is the .1Z  10v  Y5F...There is 31 of these I believe....I would be great is someone has already done this and has a master list of the caps...Like a" get well kit"......Thanks   Mark

The .1 uf disc caps never go bad. They last and last. What problem do you have?

try turning down the screen control on the monitor. But do it slowly the whit lines should fade as the screen gets darker.

Will Do.....I've been wanting to rig up an extension cable so I can get to the monitor easier...now I have an excuse to do it. How do the pros do it? Do they just reach back there and adjust it ......makes me a little nervous......Mark

There are two adjusting knobs on the flyback. The top on is a focus adj, and the bottom one will control the screens brightness or black level. By turning down the bottom knob your lines should go away. You might have to re-adjust you contrast pot. I've always just grabbed the flyback knob by hand. Never got shocked. Guess I'm ether lucky or stupid.

No it's still sitting in storage. I've lost interest in it. Too bad your not closer, I'd make you one heck of a deal on it.

Gary,
Just a word of warning. If you can see the flyback and the screen control there is not much to fear by grabbing the knob. If you can not see the knob then you risk feeling around and then placing your fingers on the flyback itself. The RF generated from that flyback is big enough to burn your hand. The problem is multiplied if the plastic casing should have a crack. Just saying, if you can't see the screen or focus controls, use extra caution.

Thanks for the warning on the Flybacks. I've had to Adj quit a few and so far they have not bitten me. I know when I've replace a flyback on a 1942 Ceronix they are always turned all the way down when you get them. I never stick my fingers or hand where I can't see. I've been bitten too many times over the yrs.
