Can anybody help me at all with anything on these machines 'Astro' or 'Igs' ?! Anything the slightest info will help! Thanks in advanced!!!

There not big time casinos machines these games price ranges from 500$ to 1700$!

I'm really in need of technical help on these type of machines!

Btw if i want to learn how to fix my machines can i learn any board fixing then apply it to my boards? I know they must vary in something but the bases must be the same and almost all the error must be the same to in hardware to right? Malfunctioning diod or resistor? or capacitor? Anything i should know before starting to repair my machines and if you can give me any links on reparing this type of machine or any at all it would help alot thank you!

I have merged your posts from different sections together into this one post -- there is no need to post essentially the same thing in multiple places.

I suspect that you haven't gotten replies because there aren't members familiar with your machines here.  I have never heard of Astro or IGS before your post.  Are they 8-liner type games?  If you can post a picture or two of your machines, it might help someone who may be familiar with the type of machine even if they aren't familiar with the name.

I've never seen astro machines before and can't recall ever hearing about them before your recent posts. Every manufacturer uses their own bord setup for their own machines, with a few exceptions of course. Maybe if you could post a few pictures of your machines, inside and out and a couple pictures of the boards you are talking about then someone may be able to offer a little help. Also describe some of the issues you are having

I have now merged this thread into your existing topic.  Please don't create a new topic every time you have essentially the same question about your machine.

Have you tried contacting the manufacturer for information or schematics on your machines?

Also, a quick Google search yielded this page which has a little bit of information, and it sounds like the company that runs that site knows something about your machines: http://www.americanalphainc.com/support/gameboards

You just have to go to their site and sign up and see.
I can't get in as I don't work for a casino.

Can the company website give me schematics and manuals??

If you contact the co (ASTRO ETC . they will have a PDF file available --or many of the (LARGE) cherry master game board sellers offer free manuals

you just do a google search RE: BOARDS NEW OR USED
of 8-liner Boards or cherry master boards  -pot of gold boards -southern gold boards  -gold touch boards -once you find a site that offers your board for sale /repair or blog etc  see if there is a PDF file to download from it . -save all sites found . INFORMATION MAY COME IN HANDY DOWN THE ROAD .

In the cherry master section of NEW.LIFE .GAMES . .you will find a list of vendors past and present that I posted and other members posted -that carry the online manuals for 100's of boards -you just need to find the correct web site that they offer the manual you need .

DONT BUY THE MANUAL >> WHAT EVER YOU DO <<  its offered for free on many cherry master sites  that sell & support cherry master products & new and used boards  etc

8-LINE SUPPLY.COM is a member of the FORUM HERE .. they do charge for manuals that other sellers offer for free . dont get me wrong -8-LINE SUPPLY IS A GREAT SOURCE FOR CHERRY MASTER ITEMS.but why buy when you can have it for free ??

NEXT ??

correct me if i am wrong is the board you have connected to a harness via a 36-10 edge connector ??

or is it connected via a 28 -10 edge connector -not JAMMA -its a 28 pin edge connector for pot of gold boards -many expensive CADILLAC JACK BOARDS

Or is it a 36-10 edge connector -which is standard cherry master connector   harness??? --also from the game name its not that old 5 -8 years perhaps ??

I suspect it runs a 15-pin VGA PIN OUTLET FOR THE DISPLAY -to run on any CRT OR LCD THAT IS 15 PIN VGA EQUIPPED .

YOUR BOARD  MAY EVEN OFFER A TOUCH SCREEN ??? WHICH WOULD CONNECT VIA -9-PIN SERIAL CABLE
AKA DB-9 CABLE --USB CABLE TO 9-PIN SERIAL PORT OR ETHERNET CABLE .

SOME LINKS OFF MY HEAD ARE THAT ARE FREE ARE BELOW ..
