I am in need of a reset key.  If anyone know where I can order one that would be great!  Also Is there any way to upgrade the software in the machine?  Also I need to add a coin opperator to it with a hopper.  It accepts bills great!  Is there a way to get into the setup of the game for changing variables without the reset key?  I noticed there is a dongle for connecting to a computer inside.  Btw this machine is a 2002 model.

You're lucky the dongle is there, they're pricey. There's a thread on those and the software on this site if you search.  I know Jim at Bluridgeslots has the clear chips for the UV1700.  Sounds like you need a manual, there was one in the submit files area (top of page), if not , I'm sure it will show up there soon.

Thanks for the handy info.  I wish I knew how to activate the setup mode without the key. I can see the key mech in side the machine.  But I am not sure what to do to to make the contacts for it to go into setup mode.  I have a key from the guy i got it from coming in 3 days but I really can't wait to get into the setup of the machine.

What is the dongle for?  For setting up the machine since it seems to be some kind of cyrix PC.  I can't seem to find any software link or anything about the dongle on the forums. If you could point me to the post that would be great. I am a big gadget geek and like to tinker with settings of the machines.

In my rush I confused it with the atronics dongle.  the manual covers what you need to know, here is the link http://www.newlifegames.net/uploads/up/SigmaUV1700.pdf/up/SigmaUV1700.pdf  the clear (all clear) chip is what you'll need.  I have them, but would rather you get one from one of the people in the U.S. since I'm in Canada. It'll be faster too.  What part of the country are you in?

The main thing right now is I am trying to get into setup mode.  What contacts do I have to make in order for it to go into it.  I don't have a key yet.

I will attach pics of the mech.

you could hook up a pus button switch to the two wires from the switch or momentarily cross"short the two wires, this would be the equivalent of turning the key.
