Hello,
I'm having strange sound issues with my bartop game maker. All sounds appear normal except the keno games when the numbers are drawn and/or they hit the chosen numbers. Although I can hear those sounds, they are so quiet that in order to hear them I have to turn the volume way up then all the other sounds are extremely loud. Obviously it's not a speaker issue as the other sounds are working and it seems to be just the keno games.
I've turned the machine off and back on and no change.
I'm scratchin my head  Scratch Head
Thanks, Jim

Update:
Due to my work schedule, I'm home a week, and working a week, thus when I'm home I turn them on in the morning and they stay on all day but they are off all week when I work.
So after a week off, the issue has suddenly resolved itself. I turned it on this morning and it works just fine and all the sounds are back just as they should be.
Guess I'll consider it a glitch and let it be at that.
Thanks, Jim

Well it isn't a fluke I guess. It's happened a couple of times since and right now some of the sounds are missing. Mainly the keno sounds as the numbers hit and the sounds from the menu as you choose games, not the cards being dealt on the poker games or the payout sounds.
Very weird... I haven't a clue.
On another post about a blinking blue screen monitor, someone thought it might be a power supply issue, could all these issues be related to something like that?
Thanks, Jim

Did the same thing I did with the blue screen and sprayed contact clean on the board connectors and now also the volume control and it's back working correct.
What's going on...?

keno game only,  the first thing i would do is replace the keno game eprom, -or at least pull the chip and make sure all the pins made it into their respective sockets terminals.

check the two caps (c83,c84) 470uf 25v. most sound probs trace back to them.  -if they are evem slightly bulging then replace.
