I’m sure this is a long-shot, but does anyone have a picture of a Las Vegas casino advertising poster that often appears on an end cap of machines or near the entrance?  Some examples of what I’m after include a jackpot winner holding up a huge check or the winner of a slot machine tournament or advertising an upcoming slot machine tournament or some folks having fun playing the casino games.  I want to see the types of phrases that appear on these posters, the font size and type, where/how the casino logo is displayed, etc.  I was thinking of creating posters like these involving my friends and family for my own game room, but I’m not sure when I’ll be heading back to Vegas myself.  Thanks for your help!

Oh that's a great idea! We did something kinda similar at one time. We would take pics whenever someone hit something big on our machines, then frame them in some cheap 8x10 frames (we bought them by the dozen or so, so that they were all alike). Then we would hang them around the gameroom or on the "Wall of Winners". Friends and family really enjoyed it, as it would remind them of their wins and the fun we had. We have 30-40 of them....then after awhile, you just give them to whoever it was that won on their next visit. It was really cool. We always wanted to have a really big check made though, like dry-erase or something, so we could write in the winners name and the amount....

Not quite what your after ....

I found some el-cheapo photo frames at Walmart - older 640x480 ish.  I am now using these as high/low limit signs but I intersperse names/pictures of people who were winners. I haven't gone to the photo shop mark up that your suggesting but if you create some templates where I can cut / paste a person in I would be interested in a copy. I am thinking mock check across the middle would be pretty easy to do.

Why not just get an old flatpanel TV, a "bookshelf" type PC and then just mount the thing up on the wall and then take pictures of the winner "holding" a check which you can photoshop into it.  That way you have your slideshow of winners?

A slot collector is like a coin hopper in a machine that never pays out.  they just keep on accumulating assets.
