I started working on a musical cherry bally 6000 I had sitting for a few years  cpu battery was good but battery for feature was bad , I get a e003 code in display in head ,and a 91ff on reel glass display  any ideas? , I did a clear but have not done a clear after I replaced top unit battery

Turn the reset key on the top box. Also, make sure the grey wire connector is seated in the front of the mpu board.

there are 2 reset keys on top box which one and grey wire on top cpu ?  right now I get a 23 error and can not clear it, game is on bill/tickets

Grey wire is the aux feed to the top feature. It must be plugged in the the port on the main MPU.  You will probbably need to do another full ram clear on the main board.
