I'm getting some error messages on my Cats machine that are making it nonresponsive.  Since I've seen closure M and restart before, I think my problem is Door Open B.......but the door definitely seems closed to me.  Does anyone have any suggestions?  Thanks for your help!

As mentioned in the file Buzz attached, "B" is the bill validator stacker door.  Make sure the cash can is inserted all the way and that the door to the cash can is closed firmly and latched if you have a latch.

Thanks Buzz!  You've been a great help with some of my i-game questions over the past year.  Your file will definitely come in handy.

Cats is my first 044 game and I have a feeling maybe I wasn't supposed to open the cash box while the game is turned on.  When I did this, the game displayed an EEPROM Error message.  When I turned the attendant key, it says I have an EEPROM Device Error.  After bouncing back and forth between these two screen messages a few times, the CALL ATTENDANT message appears.  Does this mean I need to use a reset chip on the board and then swap it out for my Cats game chip similar to what I've previously done with a 22 chip on my 3902 board/games?  If so, this will be my first attempt.  I've heard a lot more can go wrong on an 044 game.  Thanks!

With the machine turned off, I'd pull the board and take a look at the eeprom chip on the backplane.  Maybe it's loose or one of the legs are bent.  I'd inspect and make sure it's seated properly and securely.  :Dave
