Here is a optic tester I came up with to help in the field and in the shop.

It runs off of a 9V battery.

The box I used had a built in 9V battery compartment and a red transparent window.

The indicator LED's were some jumbo sized ones I had in my junk box so the box
is larger then it looks in the photo.

I used red and black wire for the emitter and red and white for the receiver as they matched the color code
of the IGT door emitter and cabinet receiver optics.

Any questions, let me know.
