You can change % and in some cases the top award by changing the SS reel prom.  But most of the time, only the % holdback is changed.  There are a few titles where the number of virtual reel stops is increased from one chip to the next, allowing for a bigger top award.

In my FAQ files, there's a lot of information on the S+ platform.  Here's a direct link to what you need.

or you can open the door, press the little white test button until you see thenumber 4 in the display, the flashing alternating numbers will be the Game and Reel chip versions.
n off the power and pull up on the black know Post them here and we will be glad to help you out!
They may also be written directly on the chip bodies themselves on the MPU board installed in your S+.
Turn off the power switch and pull up the black know on the MPU panel.
Flip it over and look for the two chip locations marked GAME & REEL PROMS.

Guys, one more question.... Can I set the payout to less than 300 coins on this  S Plus machine. Some friends are going to use it for a wedding reception and want to give gift cards and keep most of the cash for the B & G. Would like to set it to about $25.00 in coins payout if possible, then would pay balance with gift card!
Thanks

Yes, you can set the hopper limit to whatever you want provided you have the correct SP chip.  If you have the type that you configure that with dip switches, the answer is no, if you have one that does not use dip switches, you can set it to whatever you want.

Find out what SP game chip you have.  All boards have dip switches excep the 16mhz ones, but with an sp chip that is new enough, the dip switches are no longer used.

Your friends might want to strongly reconsider this.  Even though it's being used in a private event, it's still being used for illegal gambling which could land the couple (or whoever owns the machine) in some really hot water with the local, state, and/or federal authorities.

If that doesn't dissuade you, perhaps this will: anything can happen in the short term.  The machine could hit a couple of jackpots causing the couple to wind up paying out far more money than they take in.  That wouldn't make their wedding day very bright.   no
