I was successfully able to clear the RAM on a TITO 6000 slot that came directly from a casino.  The problem is now that after it boots the green arrows on the bill acceptor turn into the red x.   The head in the unit is a WBA-11.    Before I start wading through the owners manual is there something I can try first?  Is there an option to disable the player tracking stuff?

I'm thinking that the machine can't talk to its network so it's stopping bills.

I can use the pseudo coin to get the reels to spin.

Thanks

Did you check to see if there is an eprom in the socket in the bottom of the transport?  Do you hear it cycle??

After these are answered, we'll go further.

Thanks,
Wayne

pull out the transport, flip it over and I'd bet the socket is empty.

I should explain that wba 11, 12 or 13 heads are all the same, the transport dictated which software is required.  A WBA 21 transport is the same as a WBA11 transport, the 21/22/23 head in one would need the 21 software. a wba23ss transport is the same as a wba13 transport etc.

Jim at Blueridge has the eprom for your bv.

Thanks,
Wayne

the plug at the back of the transport is different between a wba 11(21) and wba13(23).  I'll snap a pic.

I ordered the chip and should have it Wednesday.     applause

Just for curiosity -  the machine is TITO  -   How exactly does this work?
I was assuming (probably incorrectly)  That the machines were connected to a server and the server validated the bar code.    Does the 6000 handle the tickets on it's own?  I can't see how this would be - each printout has a unique number and bar code no Scratch Head

You should ask Jim for some stand alone TITO mains while you are at it. It won't work as a stand alone with your current mains.

Good luck,
Wayne

Better my machine than the casino right?  frying pan

Is there a number or something I can check to see what mains I have and if indeed I need a different version?

Jim's prices are very reasonable, I was pleasantly surprised.  However this hobby is addictive and as the machines multiply, the wallet get's thinner.

Thanks,

Your mains (U28 and U43) have stickers on them in your pic, I'd bet they are 2006(U28-S6M1DS4C0008-00, U43-S6M4DS4C0008-00).

Good luck,

I can only make out U43 and it is S6M4DS4C0008-00.  The other sticker is worn off.

This main will not work alone?

It won't work with the ticket printer, otherwise it will work.  is your ticket printer functional? (lit up, has a ribbon cable?)

Thanks,

Was my line of thinking correct?  There is no way to get that ticket printer to work in a home machine right?

I have mine working stand alone.  As I mentioned previously, you need the proper mains.  Let me know if you get them.  I was asking if your printer was working because there would have been no use getting the mains with a faulty printer.

Thanks,
Wayne
