Red, White & Blue 7, model #B5033CFW, manufactured 6/96 problem

Hi, I received one of these as a gifts years ago and it has been sitting unplugged in the basement for about 2 years. I recently gave it to my vet's office and now it will not work. They plugged it up and the reels will go around but they stop at the same spot every time and are not lined up correctly. I cannot find the manual.

Pictures of the outside and inside of the machine would help in identifying what you have, so we can go from there.  If the machine is in a vet's office, you should really consider whether or not it is legal to have that machine there, usually not a good idea, depending in which state you reside.

Well, it's an S+, but I don't understand the problem exactly. Sounds like the maiden spin with reel strips in wrong position, but we'll have to stay tuned for more info as to the actual problem.

Is there a number in the door display?
Does it accept coins or do they fall through to the tray?
Did it work when you brought it up brought up from basement or was it delivered without being turned on?

Manuals are available online or on this site as well, but a manual will not identify and/or help resolve the issues you describe.

There is not a number in the display and the coins drop straight through. Any suggestions? Would pictures of inside help? It was not turned on before taking out of the basement and husband said that he saw an error code on the display before he unplugged it a couple of years ago but he does not remember the code.

No numbers are being displayed?
Open the door, grab the hopper by the handle and pull straight out towards you, place aside.
Shake the 6-pin harnes that has two orange wires on the left ,a brown and blue wire in the middle, and two green wires on the right.
Look at the display panel on the front of the reel glass and see if it comes on.

If not, then check under the display panel to see if the two connecting plugs ( One plug has 5 multi-coloered wires next to the coin comparator, while the other plug has 4 blue wires nearer to the door hinge area) are fully inserted into the panel sockets completely.

Also, you can shake the two gray wires on top of the coin comparator.
Sometimes oxidization of those gray wires' contact points will cause the coin comparator's rake to not open causing the coins to fall back into into the coin tray.
Shaking those two wires rubs off a little of the oxidization off of the Molex pins allowing power back to the CC's rake solenoid coils to open the CC rake.

There may be other problems as well but I will await to give you other possible fixes until I see what you've tried.

Hi, thanks for the response and instructions. I did try all of the above without success unfortunately. I am going to try to post some pictures here. There is a 12 in the display on the top but it is over where it has the coins dispensed.

A 12 means you have a bad battery on your MPU board.  You need to replace it  before you go any further.

The MPU board is the panel in the back with the
black knob. With the power off, lift up and remove
the MPU. There is a 3.6 volt battery that is soldered
on the board. Any of the vender's here can help you
with getting a replacement battery.

WOW outside of machine looks like S2000 with display and speakers. The inside is S+. Never seen that before.

What do you mean two machines? You mean they took the insides from one and put it in a different machine?  That doesn't sound good at all.

Are the pictures you posted of the actual machine? The picture of the outside is different than what your inside pic's, show

NOOOO, sorry! When I went to my picture library and types in slot machine , it brought up this picture that I had googled and found trying to show someone what mine was like....I am so sorry.

The 12 on the display is a low battery error code. You will need to replace the battery that is soldered to the MPU board in order to make your machine functional again.

First NEVER remove or replace the board with the machine on. Once you replace the battery, (or if you have a battery plus near they can solder it for you) When you put the board back in and turn it on the 12 will go away. Next step is 61 will be there. You will need to open the door and either on the front or the back of the toggle main power switch is a white button. You will need to hold that button until 61 changes to 61-1. Then close the door and fully latch it. Turn the jackpot reset key and wait for the maiden spin. Then you should be good to go. Hopefully you have not been turning that key now as that might put you in the 61 loop. Then you will need  clear and set chip's. Let us know your progress.

This is a picture of where the 12 is displayed. So, does this definitely mean it needs a new battery? Where do I order one from if so and do you know about how much one cost?

The battery in the lower back of the machine
behind the panel with the black knob. With the
