Hi Guys,
I just wanted to let you know that Dan can fix your Bally E series board problems if you need someone to repair your Bally Series "E" Boards. It's hard to find anyone working on the old Bally E's anymore, so you might hang on to this information. You can find Dan over at http://www.coinslots.com if you need help with your Bally Series "E" slot machines.
Thanks
Jackpot Hail wave Hail

Thanks Ron, I was happy to bring this up as it's been a long time since I had anyone to fix my E-2 stuff, and Dan is good at it. This will save a lot of nice machines.

Thanks Jackpot.. That's who I thought it was. I've known Dan for a couple years now. I loaned him a few Bally E2000 MPU boards last year to setup his board tester. He built me a cool tester for checking and testing the Reel reader 50v & 5v boards. I'll have to send him a message.

Thanks Gary

Your Welcome Gary, Dan is a great guy and he is really getting sharp on these old Bally Series E-1000's and E-2000's  machines.

Good to know... I'm working on one now but it's giving me a code 2 in the win meter. I've never ran into this before. Maybe a quick email to Dan can get me looking in the right dirrection and area..

Is that 2 code with the 2 at the beginning or at the end of the display? If it is at the beginning of the display that would mean M2 is bad, if at the end of the display then it is a RAM failure.

Dan,

It turned out to be the 5101 ram chips on the ram board were bad. Sorry for not getting back to report my findings sooner.
