As I said, I am pretty sure it was the same as an S-Plus hopper optic.

The harness on the kickers is a common issue.  Some guys replace the ribbon cable with actual wires

the real problem was the ribbon cable that operated the solenoids, it developed cracks at the solder connection to the plug. hard wire these and the problem will go away.

Another BIG problem with the kicker assembly was the grease becoming hard and the snap action was suspect. Clean and re lub all the moving pivot points on that assembly.

You can test all that mechanical action outside the machine, use your fingers to fire the solenoids, one action to start the spin and the other to stop the spin.  Use a good working one to compare it to the suspect one.

Hope this helps

I also found the old grease on the wheel shaft dry and would get a slow error until the machine warmed up.  I re lubed those and the issue is gone.
