Its been over a year in the making but I'm finally done to a point where I was ready to show it. I'm a database administrator so I'm not a professional remodeler or anything of that nature but I'm happy with how it turned out. For now I have 3 s2000 5 reels, a PE+ bar top, a Tabasco Igame bar top (that hasn't been installed yet), cornhole arcade, bowling arcade and an upright megatouch. Going to another arcade auction this Saturday in hopes of adding to the collection.

Funny story about that pole. We built a fancy square box around the support beam that is there one night. Filled it with spray foam since I read online that it was the best way to make an empty box stick to the pole. Woke up the next morning to find the box in pieces on the floor. We apparently put in too much spray foam and when it dried it had to go somewhere. It was fun cutting down a brand new pole cover and cutting off all that spray foam.

In the interest of time I ran down to HD and picked up the Pole Wrap brand support beam cover. Installed in around 15 minutes. Painted it "spiced wine" to match the bar shelves and go with the booze theme  rotflmao

I wanted to paint it gold but the powers that be gave that idea the veto.

I see your topbox is not lit?? If you need parts for that...here it what I would do...Pull the solid state ballast for the lamp over the reels, move it to the topbox and replace the warm white tube for a daylight. Replace the tube that was there with a LED tube..whiter...brighter...cooler....and your strips wont FADE due to the UV light coming from the flourescent tubes....

I like the bar top  yes nice touch
I once had a beautiful bar, multiple classic arcade games, pool table,
Pub Time dart board,the works....

Then slowly one by one my slots multiplied  frying pan and now I have nothing but slots.
Oh..  ttth I did manage to add a fridge and touch tune jukebox + plasma tv on the wall...that's it.

I hope you don't get bitten by the slot bug like so many others here  yes

Thanks for sharing the game room looks great  Clap

That's a nice setup. Have you thought about adding a pinball machine to round things out?

the guy working on my machine in the picture  is a pinball collector.  he's been bugging me to get one  for a while.  still on the fence about it.I think the next thing is a  coin op  dart board and hopefully a newish golden tee

If you pick a good pinball theme (challenging and fun to play) you'll end up kicking yourself for not having bought it sooner. They can be a LOT of fun. I'm very partial to my Star Trek: The Next Generation, but Twilight Zone is also a very good machine. There are others. The Addams family is popular but I found that it got boring after playing it a while - although that's a matter of personal taste. I've heard that Stern's LOTR is supposed to be good but I haven't tried it.

The Addams Family is one of the best pins ever made, in my opinion.  I currently have a WhoDunnit? in my game room, which goes well with the slot machines since it has a slot machine in the middle of the playfield.

My buddy has an adams family, whodunnit, TZ, and about 30 others. They are definitely fun but for the money, I just don't get into them that much. If it was $500 like my bowling game I might consider it but at 3000+ for A list titles, it gets expensive quickly.

We'll see what is available at the auction this Saturday. Who knows what I'll come home with to add to the collection  Silly Me!

Yeah it works pretty well... We had our grand opening party this past weekend and had around 20 people show up. Handled that many without issue and everyone had a great time. The time that I can remember from the party was a lot of fun  Duh!

"A" list slot machines aren't $500 either. The difference is that your room size would probably keep you from going crazy. I was suggesting one pin, not starting a collection. They offer an engaging skill-based experience that's completely different from slots, which provides an expanded dimension of interest to your guests.

The auction was mainly a bust. Really wanted a golden tee but they had none available for sale. All of the pins were having issues and still went for crazy money. They had a Star Trek Next Generation that looked like someone was throwing the balls at the playfield with all the dents in it and it kept rebooting after the first ball and it still sold for $4000.

I ended up buying a PGA Tour Championships golf game and a Valley Cougar 8 dart board that looks like its never been played before. It was missing the coin door and had no locks but I picked it up for $50. A little bit of work and a few minutes of drilling and it'll look like new. I got 2 of the 3 locks off and found the original throwing line strip and all of the mounting bolts and stuff still brand new in a bag in a small compartment.

So I guess I can't complain too much... full sized golf arcade game and a coin op dart board for $412 after tax and buyers fees isn't bad at all.

Sounds like a great deal! Where are you going to put (or is it putt Tongue Out) the golf game?
