reels, help

Hi everybody, i have an IGT S+ slant top, the big heavy puppies, well it has major problems,

My question is, the reels, do they have to be numbered 123 or whats in this one is, 322? Any will work, my thought is it should work because the the harness leading to processor board should tell the reel what to do, not the reel telling the processor.

Another question, how do i test the power harness tp see if its defective, the lights work but nothing else, the reels are loose, and credit board doent light up, I looked at several threads that knagle sent to me but i took eveything out i mean everthying looked at the power harness white end and it has scorch mark and where that mark is, the pin looks like its gone or shoved down in the pkastic.

Any diagnoses lol
