 Help

Ok, i have a new problem, its an igt s+, just all of a sudden during play, the reels start going slow, loud growling and blew a fuse, i changed fuse now it growls then blows fuse, its getting hot faster, but the credits panal doesnt light up at all, dang it i had over 400 credits on the machine, please help, i cant find threads on here or im looking in wrong place

Sounds like a shorted stepper motor on one of the reels. Do you have any spares you can swap out for testing?

Yes, so one reel will cause all of the to spin weird

One bad one interrupts the cycle and signal to the MPU. Could be something else of course, but that's where I'd start

Well now none of the reels are spinning, slow or fast and the credit panal lit up for a second but its still out, so are you thing the power harness on the mother board

Did something happen to cause this? (like someone opening the machine and take coins out of the hopper or something)  Sometimes when machines ship, there are loose coins inside and then some kind of justle can move the coin inside enough to cause a short.  I would carefully look for a coin gone stray and maybe shorting something inside the power supply.

Omg yes, coins, i will have to look better in the morning, i found 3 down by hopper, like it bounced off the holder for bad coins, thank you  will let you know tomorrow
