Hey all,

I would like to buy/build a custom wire harness for my machine.

I recently purchased the lighted "this machine Accepts" sticker, I have a Sentry BV bezel that so I don't have the bulb socket to connect to.

I would like to build/buy a Y harness to tap off the 4-pin harness that goes into the BV Bezel.

Foster has done testing that shows pin 1 & pin 4 (Outside 2 pins) will activate the sticker when the BV lights activate.

So I would like to build/buy a Y-Harness to connect to the 4-pin plug/harness from the machine pass threw the 4 wires to the BV Light, and Y off the 2 outside wires that I can connect my lighted sticker to..

Does anyone know where to buy the connector components or any company that builds custom harnesses like this?

I have the resources/knowledge to build the harness myself, I just don't know where to find the 4-pin male/female connectors?

Thanks!

-TheChad

mouser.com has all the necessary part. This is what you need.

http://www.mouser.com/catalog/catalogusd/646/1680.pdf

You need the "A" part with 4 cicuits and 2 of pins to mate to the ones off the s2000 harness (the J parts).

Thanks!

I would need 2 female plugs and 2 male plugs..

I was looking at these:

https://www.jameco.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?storeId=10001&langId=-1&catalogId=10001&pa=152734&productId=152734

and

https://www.jameco.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?storeId=10001&langId=-1&catalogId=10001&pa=152741&productId=152741

Would those work?

I think they are the same as what you posted?  (I was searching Jameco when I got your reply)

It looks like the plug you posted may be better for what I am doing? (It looks flatter)

Thanks,

The second one you posted is a header, it solders into a pcb, you need the connector like the one shown on my post.

10-4  Do you have a link for the female plug?   I've been looking but it seems there are a bunch that all look the same!

Thanks,

That's the same plug as your first post (They call it male (pins)), I need the other end that goes into that plug (They call it female (tubes))..

I *Think* this is the correct one:  http://www.mouser.com/Search/ProductDetail.aspx?R=50-57-9404virtualkey53810000virtualkey538-50-57-9404

Sorry, copy/pasted wrong link.  This is the correct one, which is the same as your link.

The pins are the right ones though.
