Hey guys, I seen similar topics explaining the wires, but nothing that matches my wire colors coming from the S+ machine's candle harness.  Here is what I have:

S2000 Topper - Red , orange, black w/ red stripe, black with orange stripe.  (I know the red and orange are positive, black wires are negative)
S+ Machine Candle Harness - Red, yellow, blue, purple

I assumed red and orange match up with red and yellow, then blue and purple would match up with the two black wires... but it didn't light up the main light, chaser lights, or candle lights.  I also have another harness coming off of the topper with 3 wires (I don't recall what colors), but that plug wasn't used on the S2000 if I recall correctly.  Also, the flat ground wire from the topper is attached to the chassis, so no issue there.

Any ideas?

The voltages between an S+ and an S2000 are different.  I hope you didn't blow your topper by making those connections.  Do you now have an topper connected to an S2000, you could find out the voltages with a multi-meter, but I believe the S2000 uses 12 volts in the top box, and the S+ uses 24 volts?

Ah, ok.  Hopefully I didn't blow anything.  A friend of mine told me the toppers were the same internally as far as S Plus and S2000... they just had to be spliced into the candle harness for the S Plus, since the connectors were different.  It wouldn't surprise me if he was wrong, lol.  Worst case, if it did blow something, I can wire up a regular bulb in there to illuminate the main part of it, even if connected to regular 110v using a lamp socket and a CF bulb... and chaser lights shouldn't take much voltage.  Hoping to use the existing stuff though.

No, I don't have a topper on my S2000 to check voltage

Typical S2000 Toppers use 12 Volts DC for the Ring/chaser lights and 25 Volts DC for the back-lighting.
Since S+ machines do not have ether of these voltages present (S plus uses AC voltages (7 VAC and 110 VAC)  for it's illumination), your best bet would be to add your own power supplies (12VDC and 25VDC) for the S2000 topper.
You will need at least a 2 Amp supply for Each Voltage.

Yeah, Comm Tech is right. Here is one I did years ago, but sold it.
One for 12VDC and two wired together for 24VDC. Close enought to run the main light.

Thanks for the info.  I'll have to see what I can come up with.  Does anyone know what my S plus candle harness is, as far as wire colors?  I have red, yellow, blue and purple wires.

The Candle connections should be the same on the S+ and S2000.

but use the bulbs from you S+ candle in the topper candle
S+ bulbs are 6-8V, S2000 are 12-14V bulbs.
