Hi All
i have an aristocrat mkv lowboy which was working fine until a few months ago
When i first turn it on its fine, but after about 10 mins the screen starts to jump and gets progressively worse until the screen is unrecognisable
I was going to order a new power supply but just wanted to ask if anyone had an idea of if it is the power supply or maybe the monitor itself
The power supply is a mk5s2a
I am in melbourne, if anyone can help and maybe point me to the best place to get parts it would be greatly appreciated

The machine is used to keep the mother in law out of my hair when she visits, and she is due for a visit again in a few weeks, so really need to get this fixed

Thanks for any help

Thanks Labrat
I'll give them a call tomorrow

Still not sure if its the power supply or the monitor thats the problem, but going to try the power supply first and hope that works,
Cheaper than a new monitor Smiley

I would replace all the caps and the flybac. About $40 parts from Gametec. Board will be tied and if firing up something not oping with continual power and getting hot.

Its a ceronix board
I just replaced the board with a rebuilt one and changed the flyback too
Was perfect picture when i first fired it up, but after 20 minutes its doing the exact same thing
The screen looks like it has double vision
I have no idea what it is now, im hoping not the crt itself

Have seen main processor do this with a bit of age but from picture looks like some one has bumped the convergence rings or your yoke has a problem

Your focus is on the flyback transformer! it is marked as the other is voltage so read first as I can remember if top or bottom adjustment

Problem solved
Found the focus button on the flyback  applause
Had to pull the entire monitor out to get to it as the screen is fully encased on the lowboy
But its been on for about an hour and it still looks perfect

Thanks to everyone for their suggestions and help  Hail
