...or find a hard-to-find clear chip for it.  Where are you located, and do you know what number PAL chip you have?

If I recall correctly, Slot Docs is located in Texas and has some knowledge of the VLC machines (as well as the clear chips for them).  No clue if you guys are actually close to each other or not, though -- I realize that Texas is a large state!
