I changed a game to triple diamonds, 5 coin, 1 line and used a ss6319. Everything played and paid as it should. The customer wanted 5 coin 5 line so I got a ss6992. When I installed it in the machine all was wrong. It takes 5 credits but only pays like 1 coin is played. I am thinking the 6992 is not burnt right. I checked the bible and the reel strips are ABC 72 stop on both versions. When it hits 3 any bar it should pay 5 credits per coin played but is only paying like 1 coin played. Any suggestion's please

I don't believe a single line and a 5-line game use the same strips? My reference shows the following for Triple Diamond. The "cm" refers to Coin Multiplier and "line" refers to Multiple paylines.

cm   ABC   848 254 00   848 255 00   848 256 00
line   ABC   848 508 00   848 772 00   848 773 00
line   ABC   848 960 00 F3790   848 961 00 F4041   848 962 00 F4042

They are all ABC order, but different strip numbers...

Thanks Roz, When a hit happened it just did not pay properly. Just acted like only 1 coin was played instead of 5. Seemed to pay on every line only as 1 coin. I did notice that nothing tripled. Huess I should say I'm using SP1271 maybe that's the problem??

No problem, it's just the info I had on it, Not sure it's the SP that's the issue? SP chip does not determine the pays, the SS chip does. What strips do you have? They may not be "convertABLE" (not really a word, but you know what I mean)...as in from 1 line to 5 line?  Scratch Head Scratch Head But probably not a deal breaker for your customer though, I'm sure one of us has the correct strips if what you have aren't the right ones!?!?

Dave Sistrunk is checking to see if he kept record of strip #'s. The strips are installed and I hope to not remove them to see #'s. I usually see #'s like 5400, 5500, 5600. I remember seeing the #'s being something like 5400, 5500, 5900 of course not the actual #'s just an example. Here is a picture in case someone can identify. If you have the reel strips that will work for SS6992 let me know.

Seemed to pay on every line only as 1 coin.

On a five line game, it's just five different paylines that will each pay the amounts listed on the glass. There's no multiplier factor on the payouts like on a traditional single line game where playing two coins will (typically) give you two times the pay.

Right, but if the Triple Diamond symbol did not triple the pay, then something's screwy. You're going to have to peel back the seams on the strips and take a peek at the numbers. At least they are on the bottom of the strip and not on the back, so you won't have to remove them.

OK, so what it is paying is correct. I got payout of 2, 4, 5, and 10 while playing. Could not figure the 4 pay and the triple sign did not triple win. Unless I had triple sign on 2 paylines. Very confusing. Do you have a 5 line 9" top glass? If I leave the 5 coin one on there it's going to drive her crazy.

if you want to verify the program to the glass and reel strips you are using go to the diagnostic test # 4. Its the same test that will display the SS and SP numbers.  when you get to that point, the spin reels switch should be lit, press it one time, it will cycle to the three jackpot symbols and display the payout for 1 coin and then show the payout for max coin. each time you press the spin button it will cycle through all the different combos.

this will tell you if the strips line up as they should and if the payout is correct.

Hope this helps

The kit you show is a 1 line 5 coin game.  The reel strips for a 5 line 5 coin game are totally different.  If I remember correctly it uses the same strips as the 9 line Tripe Diamond game.

OK Guy's and Gal. Reel strip #'s are 84825400, 5500, 5600. Which work for the 1 line 5 coin. Which strips are needed for the 5 line?

Roz,       the only difference are the numbers.  there is actually a third  set of numbers,   didn't want to include it so it wouldn't be confusing.    there is also another set of number strips for the 2 coin and 3 coin and  5 coin multiplier  all AAA .

You will get a payout of 4 if you have one Triple Diamond symbol that is on two different paylines (in other words, one TD symbol on the top or bottom line on the first or third reel).  That pay won't be multiplied by 3.  Payouts will only be tripled if you have a winning three symbol combination (excluding three TD symbol wins) with one TD symbol substituting for a symbol.

From the PSR for your SS6992 chip, your reel strips should have the following symbols in the following order.  Look at the strips and see if they match this:

Line #   1 ~~ ~~ ~~
Line #   2  7 2B 1B
Line #   3 ~~ ~~ ~~
Line #   4 1B 3B 2B
Line #   5 ~~ ~~ ~~
Line #   6 1B  7 1B
Line #   7 ~~ ~~ ~~
Line #   8 TD 2B ~~
Line #   9 ~~ ~~ TD
Line #  10 1B 2B ~~
Line #  11 ~~ ~~ ~~
Line #  12 2B 3B 1B
Line #  13 ~~ ~~ ~~
Line #  14 1B 2B 2B
Line #  15 ~~ ~~ ~~
Line #  16 3B ~~ 1B
Line #  17 ~~ TD ~~
Line #  18 1B ~~ 3B
Line #  19 ~~ ~~ ~~
Line #  20 2B 2B  7
Line #  21 ~~ ~~ ~~
Line #  22 1B 1B 1B

If they do, please then post a picture of a spin result that you feel you weren't paid correctly for, and we can help you figure it out.

The problem was my strips were for a 5 coin game. 84825400,5500,5600. I have the right strips coming 84850800,84877200,84877300. I had seen in the bible that strips should be ABC, did not know there were so many ABC's. Is there a listing of strips on this site?

The strip listing of ABC just meants that they are 3 different strips.  When you get AAA, it means they are all the same, it does not indicate suitability once you leave the paytable id for that particular game.  Some games have a paytable ID that will use different strip configurations depending on the holdback chip used, like Triple Diamond 3 Coin game.
