I'll go with paper and cardboard, what do I win? rotflmao Sorry, you set yourself up for that. On the serious side, can you show us a picture of what you're referring to? I've seen everything from cove base to custom cut sheet metal, but never paper, kind of flimsy for commercial use I would think

Cowboy, you know you can get away with that. What I have in a couple is a little thicker than an index card and is black. Something like what was used on the back of speaker cases years ago. I remember someone selling sheets of it a while back. Rudy had some plastic ones but do not fit Bally 9000

LOL, if it get's to the point where all we have left is our sense of humor we can take comfort in knowing we still have a chance yes
You might try Hobby Lobby or a similar craft store if that's what you want to use. Easy cut and fit job I would think...

I cut my player tracking bar to bits with a dremel and mounted in a progressive meter behind it.
I did a serious hack job, but when I was done I took a can of matt black and sprayed it nice.
Next I got some dark plexy and apoxied it to the front of the player tracking bar.
The progressive shines through nicely.

I've been thinking that a carbon fiber sheet would be a pretty easy way to construct your own blank-offs. The thinner sheets are easy to cut and would look pretty nice in my estimation. I was considering trying it out on one of my machines.
