Dan, we have a 5 reel vision that will be parted out shortly. I'm assuming the reel shelf is unique to Visions and not the standard 5 reel machines? Never looked, to be honest.  Scratch Head

Any idea of a part number?

No part number, I converted from a Back-lit kit to this Dick Clark and the reels are non-lit.  I can only guess what it looks like, but the picture below is what I think it would look like (note the mounting slot in the front.) The picture is of a 3 reel shelf, I need a 5 reel shelf..

There's only two types of shelves for 5 reel slots, wide and narrow reels. Backlit or non-backlit doesn't matter. If you don't use a back light controller then you just converted to non-backlit.

While i thought (well, hoped) that that was the case. We just checked some games and came up with 3 different part numbers, 1 for wide (2.25"), 1 for narrow (2"), and one for the Vision. I'll have to do some more digging to see what the diff is.

See I used my original back lit reels with the Dick Clark Strips and when installed they are about 3/4 of an inch too long.

I happened to find a complete set of strips on reels and they fit the strips perfectly, just now those reels will not fit the shelf.

They are 2" reels, I wish I had my camera here I would take a picture of the bottom of the reel, will get that done tomorrow.

I think I have a user here who has the shelf in question , I will ask him for a picture of the shelf.

Interesting. Never changed from Vision to "non-Vision" or vice versa, so would never have thought they were different lengths (or different reels, however you want to look at it).

I took a picture of the 2" reels I have.  I know there is a correct shelf someplace out there.
I have 5 matching reels with the correct reel strips.
I forgot who sent me the reels, it was over a year ago, but it was a user here from NLG.  Scratch Head

OK, this really helps, seems like I have the only s2000 that has a vision screen and does not have back lit strips.

I don't think our Ms. Little Green Men has backlit reels. Which leaves you in luck possibly, as that is the machine I'm hoping to get your parts out/off of. That machine has been jinxed since the day we got it...it's just goofy and certain things are just okie-rigged. It's finding a nice home on the scrap trailer just as soon as its parted.

Nothing worse than a POed customer. Do you have the right reel harness for NON back lit?  It needs to be 607-536-020A.
