I have the opportunity to purchase a Bally Alpha M9000 at a very good price. My question is the current game in the machine can it be switched to a Gamemaker HD with the keno games. It has the 20 inch lcd screen. If this could be done is it hard to do, what parts do you need and is it expensive to do? I have been looking for a Bally Alpha Gamemanker HD for a while and I am trying to get one a good price. What is the difference between a S9000 and a M9000? Which model would work for the Gamemaker HD? Any help or suggestions would be greatly apprecisted.

The M9000 would be easier to convert as the HD is a video only game..  The major part is you would have to install a HD button deck that is controlled through the USB. These parts would run about $100.00 to $150.00. The upright button deck is hard to find. If you want the trim pieces ie decals etc these would have to be found and replaced. The HD game set also requires a 1 gig CPU with the proper software. All the above is true for the S9000 as well as removing the reels and covering the place where the reels were. Below is a picture of a S9000 I just converted into a HD. Good luck.

On the machine you just converted is there a monitor for the bottom? I am assuming the bottom monitor is to play the game and the top monitor displays what game you are playing?
