I have a bally 6000 mpu that works, but I can not read the numbers on the game chips in u18 and u20.  Is there a way to find out what game I have?

Thanks

I don't know about the Bally 6000 but on the GameMaker you can stick the eprom into a burner, read the information in and then view
the buffer contents and the game number is indicated on the first line.

I don't have a burner, so I was hoping there was a way in the menu system to figure out what chips are in the slot.

Thanks for you help.

Are there any numbers on the chips, some have a sticker on the underside.

I did not look on the under side.  I will do that tonight.  That would make sense.  There is so many layers of security tape on top you can not see the numbers.  when I tried to remove it the label came with.

Thanks!

I found a post on the site that stated to go to menu 010d and a 4 digit number would appear in the credits box.  I get 8077 that is supposed  to be the SMI number for the game and in the first post of the Bally reel games a list is to appear.  I can not find the number, except as part of another number in the list.
