I recently acquired  an IGT S2000 Vision slot machine. It is a quarter machine one line 3 reel, Bonus Wheel Triple Diamond. On boot up the display passes self test then shows a Displays Netplex Link Is Down and a Comm Link Failure, Please call attendant on bonus play screen. So far I have replaced the power supply behind the reels, replaced 3v button battery on CPU board and eliminated the 3.6v Ni cad on the CPU board. None of the LED's on the CPU board light up and nothing happens when I press the white reset button. Not sure what kind of chips are on the board, the tags are not legible. It looks like it is a 500 board revision D. Would it make sense to clear it and find out what happens? If so, what kind of chips do I need? Any other suggestions would be appreciated. Also checked that all connections are secure

It may still be looking for the casino accounting system.
At this point I would clear the entire machine and set back up from scratch.

Just for grins, lift the main door latch up, wait a second or two and lower it all the way down, ( make sure it goes all the way down ) Do this three or four times. Let me explane, a S 2000 will clear ONE error each time the main door is opened and closed. So open and close the door latch a few times just in case you have more than one error.
