I have two coinless 6000's I'm working on. Both had dead batteries.  I did the Complete Saferam Clear on both with U28 and U43 chips.  They had no tickets in the dispenser, but the customer bought some and I put them in (I think).  One had the printer motor start running when the ticket was inserted but it didn't pull it through.  The other didn't do a damn thing.

Anyway, after doing each clear, I set the date and time, got the 5.0 on the display, shut the door, had the reels spin, got the . . on the left and 0's on the right.  Seems okay, right?  But neither will take bills.  Not that their rejecting.  They won't even attempt to pull the bills in.

I hear them power cycling when the power comes on and when the door is shut.  I have no error codes.  The entry plate does not light up at all.

I've checked both and they have SW2 dips #5 ON and #6 OFF.

Is there something in the machine options I have to do to turn it on?  I'm used to IGT slots that have the SET chip, so I don't know what my options are here.  Also, if anyone has an idea as to why the one ticket printer isn't doing anything when I stick the tickets in, or a primer on how to load the tickets properly, I'd appreciate it.

The manual I have hasn't been much help.

Thanks...

EDIT - silver switch on both MPUs was down.  Flipped them up and the DBA's work now.

Still need to figure out the printers.  The on that "works" will pull a couple tickets through until it stops at a point.  I rip off the excess tickets.  But it won't print and gives a 32 error after a certain period of time.  The other just gives the 32 error right away and doesn't try printing at all...

The printer that works make sure you are loading the printer tickets the correct way with the black markings up. The printer that is not working, check to see if you are getting any lights on the printers left side by the feed button. If no lights make sure its plugged in at the bottom by the hopper.

An error 32 is a hopper error. check 061 & 081 in the 11d menu
