I think I understand volatility; correct me if I'm wrong.  If a game's payout is 75%, a high volatility game might pay one $750 jackpot for every $1,000 bet while a low volatility game might pay 30 $25 jackpots.  If I was gambling, I'd probably prefer a high volatility game but for home I'd want a low volatility game so there's lots of payouts to keep people interested.

How do you know if a game is high or low volatility?

Up near the top select the blue button labeled "Rick's FAQ Files". There you can view IGT S+ games PAR sheets. They are under IGT bible link.

Basically avoid games that have multiplier wild symbols like Triple, Five Times Pay and Ten Times Pay. They almost always have fewer hits.
