If money and space weren't an issue what would be your absolute must have knock down drag out favorite slot to own?

For me it would be this machine I played that was a three reel regular slot that had this transparent screen over the reels.  You almost didn't notice that it was there until the machine went into bonus mode - it made the reels change and placed a bonus round over the reels and was a lot of fun to play.  I didn't notice who made it but the technology was really cool.

I have to agree Tac that Star Wars and Wizard of OZ are definetely on the cutting edge of the next generation of slots.....I love sitting there and losing my money...one of the few machines I can say that you can sit there and enjoy not winning.    rotflmao

Wonder if I can fit one of those through my front door  Scratch Head

Wizard of Oz video BB2
Star Trek video BB2
WOF Super Spin video with 9 seats

 Yeah, baby!!

I was waiting to see how long it would take someone to include the giant WOF "slot" station.

That's definitely on my list, too, with seating for two at each station.
A bank of three or four 3-reel WOFs hooked up to a server with the proper WAP software and a nice 2 x 4 overhead sign driven by a con2i, with decent odds of hitting the thing. Naturally, my Super Spin WOF station would also be hooked into this. arrow

I've never even played Star Trek BB2 yet, but it has to be on my list as well.
A really huge 4-reel Big Bertha with a giant handle and some personality.
A bank of machines of any game with 5 physical reels and transmissive reel glass technology and a large LCD above for common multi-player bonus rounds.
A full-time staff of beautiful women in sexy outfits serving me and my friends drinks and food while we play.

At that point, I might as well own a casino, so... stir the pot / get cooking How about a billion dollars so I can buy a nice LV strip property?  bust gut laughing bust gut laughing rotflmao rotflmao  -- Oh wait! Then I woudn't be able to play at all due to Nevada gaming regulations. hissy fit hissy fit  and I definitely wouldn't be able to open up the machines and get my money back like I would in my mansion.  bust gut laughing bust gut laughing

Wow - great looking Tabasco game!  I have a 3 reel version, but the 5 reel with video screen...now I'm jealous.

One machine I have always wanted has been an Odyssey...I actually got to play one in a real casino at the Luxor in Vegas.  Sadly, the next time I was there...they were all gone - thanks IGT!  I'm not sure why I want one with the problems they have, lack of parts, not being able to update the bill validator, etc...but I am sure someday I will pick one up...just haven't seen one for the right price in my area.

Wheel of Fortune would always be nice too....you always want what you can't have Smiley

Someone beat me to it.  I was going to say the big, fat, ginormous Wheel-of-Fortune machine with tons of seating.  I LOVE that game.  Well, you said money and room no object, LOL.  Other than that I would love to have a Jackpot Stampede Deluxe game.  I am close though with a Big Bang Piggy Bankin', Jackpot Party and Jackpot Deluxe dotmation games.  But really, most of the machines we have now are the games we have always enjoyed more than others.

So who has one of them WOF games they need to store somewhere??  I have a half acre.  Maybe someone works at a casino and can leave one of them out back by the dumpster for me to pick up, HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

I reckon I'd have to say 3cm Triple Double Wild Cherry Deluxe Haywire with Mystery Reel Action including Spin Till You Win feature.

If anyone runs across one of these whether in a casino or elsewhere, PLEASE let me know!   arrow arrow arrow

Stat,

You mentioned a billion dollars to buy your own strip casino.....ever since the MGM group announced it is considering selling off some properties I have been interested in the Beligio.
The TI sold for 775m, so 1 to 1.2b seems a reasonable price tag for the Beligio.

To cover a billion in cost you don't need a billion, you only need to cover the interest on a billion.... and a fair bit of those carrying costs could be covered under a private offering.
6% on 1 billion = 600,00 or 50,000 per month. Theoretically I would normally only need prove I could cover the carrying charges + cost of operations.

So if I could get a Fed backed loan (as who in their right mind is going to "lend" me 1b) I could probably lower those costs to about 2% - 2.5% or about 22k per month.

Since we were able to raise money for Joeys toppper so I am hoping the NLG gang can chip in here too.....
1. Money.. I will back all buy-the-beligio contributed funds in equivelent to free rooms at $200/night. Ie give me 1K - you get 5 free nights.
2. Anyone got any connections in the Fed ?
3. I will refund all monies (less 18%) if the bid for the Beligio doesn't go ahead.
    - The 18% is cover bid, legal costs etc.

Stat has been nominated as treasurer.... Oz for floor manager, Joey head of slot maintainence, and I will take applications for other senior board postitions.

I'm in, but I'll want 49.9% ownership (you can maintain control of the company) and will participate in raising capital and obtaining Federal backing. We should meet privately as I have some ideas on increasing the property's income stream. I suggest that we meet at the Bellagio so that we can survey the property thoroughly while discussing our plans. I also suggest that we sample the cuisine from each of the hotel's fine dining establishments to assess and re-evaluate the role of each location in our future plans. I will also arrange a tour of operations and a thorough inspection of the company's books.
