DBV 145 help

I have a Sigma SG150Plus (Treasure Wheel) that works perfect. The machine accepts quarters, and I have never had any problems. I recently installed the bill acceptor. When I insert a $1 bill, the machine only gets one credit, instead of four.

I have checked the Sigma manual and there is no mention of how to fix this. Does anybody know what is wrong. If it is a matter of messing with the dip switches, does anyone know which ones need to be set, and in what position. I have not tried any other currency amount.

 
p.s. I am new to this and don't understand much of the real technical talk.

The slot appears to be setup for $1.00 denomination. That is $1.00 = 1credit.
In the door you will see the coin comparitor which should have a sample coin in it. Right now this is a quarter but should be a dollar.

Most machines however use one type of coin comparitor for small denominations (penny, nickle, dime, quarter,half dollar) and a different type for large denominations (1 dollar, 5 dollar token, etc).

My experience is mostly IGT and I have no direct experience on the Sigmas. I would however think you have two paths here, the first being to change your denomiation settings on the slot to a quarter (1 dollar then = 4 credits) or to change your comparitor and sample coin to a dollar.

On the IGT platform this change is made with a SET chip. Not sure if this is the same on Sigma or not.

I know this is old,but was looking for something else and ran across it. .

On the 150 and 300's ...Regardless what you have in the C.C,it goes by what denom. chip you have installed (the small chip behind the system chips). You can put whatever coin you like in,but the chip is based on 1$

You can change the coin head,hopper to 1$ tokens,or change the denom.chip  . And if you have a choice,get an 01 chip

On the Sigma, the denomination is changed by a chip that gets installed onto the MPU board.
