Well, I am finally up and running, thanks to the help of many on here.  Everything seems to  be working just fine, especially when my 4 year old daughter hit the 3rd largest pot of 240 coins today and she nearly peed her pants rotflmao rotflmao

But now, I have noticed that the DBV-145 is not accepting bills.  It makes a noise every few seconds that sounds like it is trying to reset or process bills.

Does anyone have any insight on this one?

Thanks in advice!

The first thing I check when weird things like that happen is:

1.  Check power supply
2.  Check cabling to/from power supply.

It could be that you have a weak power supply and voltage is varying enough to the point that it causes the dbv to restart.

A slot collector is like a coin hopper in a machine that never pays out.  they just keep on accumulating assets.

To add to Rick's post, when you check the cabling unplug and plug the connections to the DBV. Also reseat the transport carefully.
