Finally got around to installing the progressive to the glass .... Thanks April  yes.
Not sure if I should post here or another section,so please move if you feel it belongs somewhere else  Tongue Out
I've read a few manuals http://newlifegames.net/nlg/index.php?action=dlattach;topic=901.0;attach=3672  this one talks about the conn, but the pages are blank  Duh!
The chip says Prosolo on the controller board and the machine was setup as a progressive at the casino, but most of the stuff was removed. And not sure of where each cable would go on the Sigma 300.

In the 3rd photo, ground out the two left most header pins (There's 4 in all)
coming out of the progressive spot briefly several times with a screwdriver tip.
That will start the credits rolling on the display...IF it has been programmed correctly by someone else before you got it.
It's unknown how that progressive is set up really...
I had one Prosolo meter working only for a little while before the chip somehow became corrupted and
looked like the garbled mess that is displaying like on yours.
No one has been able to actually get a Prosolo working correctly with a S+...
as far a hooking one up to a Sigma machine....I have no clue...
To top it all off, you need the serial cable to program it with a laptop...
That has been nothing but headaches....
I wish I could help you more... hissy fit bawling

I've read about the serial cablebut figured no use to I had it installed  frying pan .I have the software atleast LOL. When you say ground them out,you mean just short the two together or actually go to a ground  Scratch Head.... I shorted them together,no change

Yes,
Your display is really messed up at the moment...
shorting out the 2 pins together won't do a thing for now.
At least not until you get the serial cable hooked up and
communicating with a computer to do a progressive reset as if the jackpot was paid out.
If you look at the way thy have the Prosolo hooked up in the manual...
it needs to go through other systems first in order to "speak" to it ( do programming for instance) via computer...
Those systems are in some casino backrooms somewhere gathering layers of dust...or in the dumpsters bawling
