S2000 slant top machines.

I just shopped some slant top S2000 machines, the bottles to catch the spills were almost filled with disgusting sediment, a little hot water ans they were clean. The attendants must not like to take the coins from these since one of them had about a dozen tokens in it.  The machines turned out nice. They are Tabasco 3 coin, Triple Lucky Sevens and The Mummy.  If you haven't heard The Mummy sound, it's better than Tabasco.
I used my Grandaughter's camera which the date is wrong in , but here are some pics.

I have a shortage of WBA heads so these are Canadian Quarters only, but can cash out by ticket or the hopper, whatever the player decides, I love that option. I have three others to shop, well I already started, another Mummy, another Triple Lucky Sevens, and an American Beauty which is missing the simm, i think it's a 42 anyway.

I love the sound on it, All of my slants have the correct sound simm, except American Beauty, which is missing the simm.
I don't see many posts on them so though I'd post .

   I wish I could have a slant machine for the collection  ...My problem is not so much the room but getting it home in a small car    I HAVE managed to get a S2000 round top home by removing the top and somewhat taking it apart

You'll have to invest in a pick up truck and a tarp and about a dozen friends to help move it.. 368 was the billed weight last time I had an S+ slant shipped.. ouch

368?, either I'm stronger than I thought or they overcharged you.  I have moved S-Plus slants up from my basement on a hand truck (dolly) by myself.  They were heavy, but I would doubt 368lbs.  Was it skidded?  I just took a crated S-Plus round top to the shipping terminal and it weighed in at 296 pounds.  The S2000 slants likely weigh that much, it was a struggle to take them up the concrete steps outside.  My hand truck bent when they were unloaded from the truck, I had to weld reinforcements on it.
I like the padding on the S2000 slants, they have a softer feel than the S-Plus slants I've had in the past.

Yeah evidently the S+ slant bottoms were built completely out of the heaviest material on earth, they're ridiculously heavy, but they will take a licking and keep on ticking. Maybe they had to offset the weight of an obese gambler pushing themselves off the stool using the arm rest?

Hey Wayne, I was looking at the slants in your profile and noticed the stereo speakers are all open access to the speaker cones. I wonder why IGT would not protect those with a grate or screen. I mean liquid getting splashed on them or just someone putting a finger through them, seems kinda vulnerable.

What additional sounds does the American Beauty make if you have the sound card ? IGT + has other sounds available too or is it only on the 2000 machines ? What is the difference or advantage of a 2000 machine vs an IGT + ?

American Beauty is an S-Plus game so I will put s generic sound simm in (42).  The sound is richer than an S-Plus since it's in stereo and the bass adds a nice touch.  I actually think the sound is better on an S2000 slant than on the upright, maybe it just seems that way since the games all have special sound simms (Triple Lucky Sevens, Tabasco and The Mummy).

You should zoom in on the pics, they do have mesh grilles on them which shows in the post pics in this thread.  As far as liquid, It can get in any machine.

A little update would be that I made all of these multi denomination  $.01, $.05, $.25, $1.  The coin acceptor takes quarters, so playing for pennies goes a long way.

I agree my S2000 slant has much better sound deep rich bass
I guess do to the fact the bottom of the cab in a slant has more room to reflect the bass
and when sitting down the speakers in the top are ear level great full stereo sound
not to say the upright doesn't but the slant has it beat.

Sounds are awesome, it blew me away since I had no expectations for it. Once I get a bit more free time, I'll try to video it with the sounds.  The attract sounds are great too.

That Mummy is one of my favorite S-2000's...very nice machine Wayne.  The sound and play in the reels is really addictive.  

I was recently up at Windsor and usually stick to the penny slots...but saw the Mummy there...said what the heck...$10 bucks max and I am gone..... and played for the first time.  LOL...    ...well $40 later I was still found myself addicted to that game and if my wife was not there I have a feeling another 20 would have gone in.
