I was playing my S+ tonight and I noticed that when the reels stop they bounce and the symbols vibrate.  Are there grommets in the reels that I can replace like the WMS reels?

It's the invisible Magnets   bust gut laughing  ... Someone actually told me this was a "fact" at a casino once  rotflmao rotflmao rotflmao

Actually, if its really getting bad you might want to check or reinsert your reel wirering harness and also check that your reel strips are inserted fully and not coming loose  Tongue Out

I remember reading back someplace .... (so not fact) ... and I am not entirely sure this was an S+ discussion.
....That the vibrating reel syndrome is caused by a weak transistor on the steppermotor control board. Are all the reels jiggling or just or or two ?

If its just one or two you might try swapping reel assemblys Ie move reel 1 to reel 2 and vise versa and see if the problem moves with the reel assembly or remains with the MPU logic.

It's really just one reel that does it.  And it's quite severe - It will stop and then vibrate from force of the reel rotating.  I was very surprised because I don't remember this happening before.    I said pair - just to get a rise out of you guys - but the third reel has the symptoms as well - only much much less noticeable.
