On the MPU make sure the Toggle switch is up, the Insert Coin light should be lit, Does it have a Bill Validator on it, the X-10 needs programmed most likely

The  IDX coin mech will probably need to be programmed...especially if the casino was using their dedicated token.   The IDX are programmed for specific tokens or a quarter.   The  IDX  may be "locked"  which means you need to find someone with a IDX programmer.... OR  if you luck out  it may be "unlocked" and you can program it yourself.   Look up  IDX  web site for some help on programming.   If you can't get it workinig.... the EASY button is to just get a  CC-16. to replace the IDX.   ( the yellow light on the (COD) board is a good thing.... (but not sure about touching circuits with power on)   One more thing... in order to program the IDX,  you have to get the machine into coin mech test.  (there must be "power" to the IDX)   I believe the 6000 series Bally used optic lens on the door switch....so you would have to get power to the coin mech.  (the 5500 series just had mechanical door switches...so it was easy to get power to the coin mech)
