I was playing video poker last weekend in Laughlin. Got tried of Double-Double and Double Bonus so I tried Shockwave Poker. After a few 4-of-kinds I was hooked! Never hit during Shockwave mode, but a couple of drawn 3-of-a-kinds during shockwave mode had me going!
Anyone else like Shockwave Poker?

That's where I played it, at the Tropicana Express. It was a 10-nickel game. When you get a four-of-a-kind you win a normal 250 coin win for a 10-coin bet. But then the machine goes into "shockwave" mode for the next 10 spins. If you get another 4-of-a-kind in the next ten spins you win 8000 nickels ($400.00) Also this game had a progressive Royal that was up to about $450.00. A lot of fun for .50 cents a spin.
If you go in the front door (right off Casino Drive), it's to your right heading to the Cashiers Cage. Slant top game.

Thanks, I don't know how I missed that one  Scratch Head  but then I am usually playing more machines toward the middle near the $1, $5 and up slots.  I like the bar in that middle section.. It's not usually as crowded as the bar leading to the rooms so I have more of a choice of machines when I take a break from the floor slots... (I can usually manage to lose my money faster in that section  also )  Duh!

Here is a pic in shockwave mode.  It starts at 0 and counts to 10.  If you get a 4 of a kind in the next 10 spins  Jackpot 64000

bust gut laughing bust gut laughing bust gut laughing  That's what makes video multi-denoms fun! I keep trying to parlay my wins by increasing the denomination after each big hit. One of these days I'm hoping to hit a six or seven figure win. At $100 per credit and 90 credits per spin, or 20 credits in VP, it's not that hard to win several million dollars. Of course, the books say that I've lost almost three-quarters of a million dollars so far trying to do it. Tongue Out  And starting out at the 25ยข or $1 level and building up to the $100 level isn't as easy as it ought to be! Duh! frying pan frying pan loser   rotflmao rotflmao
