If you want to make your machine Multi-Denom, A few things to look for and do.

On your main board the version chip needs needs to be one of the following: VSO11 (GX1), (IH1) or (NX5). I believe some older games and GME's will not give you these Multi-Denom options.
If you have the long or short reel glass you can change it out with touch pad and LED lighting which has the built in VFD board and you use the touch pad on the reel glass to choose denomination.( see pic 1 ) and other parts will be needed.  Hold on to your seat $$ if you can find one.

Other option to use with a long or short reel glass is a standard small button and place it in the far right side of your button deck (providing your button deck has the extra spaces with covers on them) ( see pic 2 )

Check to make sure the button deck wiring harness has the connectors you will need. Open your door and look at the wires above your BV lights, you should see 4 wires with connectors tied up ( see pic 3), colors will be:  RED, Black w/red stripe, Blue w/brown stripe, Yellow w/orange stripe. Remove the plastic tie wrap and hook them up to your switch. ( see pic 4,5,6. Mount your button in the deck.

Now you need your key chip (31 or possible17) these settings are based on GME 312,362 and 363. Go to [7 key chip configure] and then 7.1.1.3 (player Denomination) and there you can select up to 4 player selectable denominations to be used by the button. Some choices might vary depending on what your accounting denomination is set at.

Go to 7.1.2 (Game Selection) and put what percentage you would like each denomination to play at.
EXAMPLE:     .25 92.4 %
                   .50 92.4 %
                   .75 96.2 %
                  1.00 98.7 %

Exit setup and make a insert for the reel glass and your new button  wave
Remember some of the games with older GME's won't handle this. Not sure if this will work when using a S+ game in the cabinet. maybe it just wont allow for different % settings.

I have been think about that on my model 2004, S-2000. What is this on the back glass? I know it only lights
up on the left top side of the 25 cent sticker (1/4 of the sticker). Sometimes when it is starting up the light moves
around all four locations and ends up on the left top one.

Wonder what else I would need to make it work?

Nice setup Ron,only seen that style display at the casinos, didn't know it made it to our world yet.   The newer VFD to use with the touch panel for player choice of denomination.

If your software permits (game, version) all you need to do is remove the VFD bar and see if there is a touch panel in front of the LED box, look at the copper colored panel in pic 1 If you have that you would just need the cable  which is not present in the pic otherwise you will need the panel and cable.

I might have a cable for you and a small denom sticker for the reel glass, will look tonight

Looks like I will need a touch panel, cable and a sticker for it to work. Anybody have a touch screen for sale?

Railroad, PM me with cost if find them. Thanks.

OK I tried this on a Triple Diamond SB100058, VSO11GX1 and GME1 & 2 SG000363. I can change 7.1.1.3 (Player Denomination) OK but in the 7.1.2 (Game Selection) after Game #1 it jumps around to different game numbers. It does not follow sequence, #1, #2, #3, #4, etc. Can not save some of the settings I pick.

When you have player one select a denom and then payout %.

Move to player two and do the same.

I have tried setting this up on two different machines, this is what I get using  SB00100 (Tabasco) or
SB100058 (Triple Diamond), VSO11GX1 and GME1 & 2 SG000363. My setups are in blue.

7.1.1.3 Player Denom.
           Player #1 $0.25
           Player #2 $0.50
           Player #3 $1.00
           Player #4 $2.00

7.1.2  Game Selection (All read $0.25 at top of each game #)
         Game #1: LSO13017  (98.03%)       Game #6: LSO006745 (92.50%)
         Game #2: LSO006742 (97.45%)      Game #7:LSO006746 (90.01%)
         Game #3: LSO006743 (96.24%)      Game #8: LSO006747 (87.47%)
         Game #4: LSO006744 (95.02%)      Game #9:LSO006748 (85.01%)
         Game #5: LSO013016 (93.94%)      Disable

As I understand from the PSR SG000363 you are "to assign a payable to a denomination, press the Cash/Credit button
until the cursor (no cursor)is aligned with the appropriate denomination, and press the Spin Reels button until the appropriate payable
name is displayed."

I can not change the percentage on the game selection. What is it I'm I doing wrong?

In 7.1.2
Use the Change Switch to pick the player denomination IT will change in the upper part of the VFD as you do.
Then use Cash/Credit switch to pick the pay table for that denomination.

Spin button resets to original config that was in effect for that particular option.

Thanks for the reply Foster. When I push the Change Switch when showing Game#1 $0.25 LSO13017 (98.03%) it jumps to
$0.50 Disabled. Push again and it jumps jumps to Game #3 $1.00 LSO6743  (96.24%)?

Also how do you save a setting? Do you have to push play to save then go back in for game #2?

Hope I have not confused you the way I am right now. arrow

Once you have the denomination showing, press the credit/cash out button to change from disabled to any available pay table in your base chip.
Basically Change button picks one of the denominations you have have set up as the four denominations available
Cash/Credit picks the pay table, disabled being one of them.
If you make a mistake on a denomination just cycle back to it with the Change button
Max Bet to exit and save configuration

You can make changes as long as you do not exit out of the key chip menu fully.

When I change the Denominations it changes all the games to that Denomination. If I pick $0.25 it changes all games to that. If I pick
$0.50 it changes them all again.

Thanks again for your help but I will call it quits for today as I have been  muted muted muted muted around with this for 4 1/2 hours. hissy fit

Ok Ron don't get  hissy fit  seems like you have everything right just have to work on the set up,unless there is something that I'm missing. I currently don't have a game running multi but should be doing it tomorrow night.  Drop me a PM with your number and we can go through it at the same time.   You don't even have to send me that nice touch panel multi display  Tongue Out unless you really want too  rotflmao

<edit> It is working now thanks to Foster and Railroad94. Once you have the amount showing at the top of each game selection
(by pushing the change button) you push the cash/credit and watch the percentages change (pay table) on the right side to select
the percentage you want. DO NOT PAY ANY ATTENTION TO THE GAME NUMBER AT THE LEFT OF EACH PERCENTAGE. (See above
7.1.2)

Hope this helps someone in the future.

When you go into 7.3 Progressive
You have to pick each denom and select link Level 1
I just did it on my machine.
I removed the Spectrum from the topper and put the Cham II+ in
The thing is you have to pick it for Each denom
If you call me, I will key chip mine so I can walk you through it step by step.
