It's been a while since I've posted anything but I just had to chime in on this post, Before i got into the crazy world of "SLOTS", I was building motorized barstools, Keep in mind that I change hobbies about twice a year. Although the one pictured below is two years old, I continue to add gadgets to it. It now has, GPS, Satellite Radio, Nitrous Oxide, I milled the head for more compression & polished the exhaust port. It will do about 42 mph & 47 with the Nitrous.
  It's fun to take to the local car shows. Now if I could only figure out where to put the slot machine ?.

I grew up playing with(fixing) motorized things, but never had a bar stool.  Excellent job!  I can't imagine the hours that went into it, the matching tire covers are great too.  Have you ever thought of putting a torq-a-verter on it?  I have them on some mini bikes and my off road mini truck, they work well.  My Rupps have a similar set up and fly.

Of course, we will have to modify them for racing. There's a lot of excess weight that we can take off of a slot chair. We could use a magnesium pole and base and replace the normal stuffing with space foam.
