This one works fine, it's new, and it's probably only a few more dollars than a used scratched up one.

PS ~ the picture is upside down...Happ as usual is always on top of things.

No thanks.  ttth

I've been burned once too many times by the Happ "Mystery Shipping Action" game: $12.00 worth of parts, shipped in 3 separate envelopes, at $9.80/envelope.  frying pan :30-Also, they have a wierd criteria for what they will and will not ship to me. A plastic drop bucket was a nono, but  calibration papaer for a DBV-200 was fine... Scratch Head Duh!

But thanks for looking out, the effort is appreciated. K+ to you. wave

PM  sent...

I just got home from that slave camp I call work. I wish our stock price would go up so I can retire before I die in my cubicle...

Just got over the morning meetings with the folks in Beijing, another couple hours and it'll be time to meet with the folks in Tel Aviv. Guess there's time enough to sleep when I'm dead...

Whenever I order from Happs, I do two things....a pain in the you-know-what
but I first click a checkmark on "Ship Complete" dialog box then
I call their 1-800 telephone number and ask them exactly what the shipping costs will be for that particular order.
If the lady says it's too high, I politely inquire why?
Usually it's because they want to ship it with a Boeing 767 and escorted by a pack of military MP's...
I politely tell her I prefer snail mail and get my items a lot cheaper! yes

That is a great tip ! one of the greatest deterints to dealing with Happ is the fear of the shipping cost.

On a trip to Vegas I picked up some stuff at Happ, the total was just over $100.00, but they were out of stock on a small $8.00 item witch they said they would ship to me free, pretty good deal eh,
Well I live in the great white north and a week later UPS showed up with a small box asking for $30.00 in brokerage fees as well as the tax on my $100.00 purchase, Happ put the full invoice in the shipping envelope, so my free shipping on my $8.00 part cost me $45.00 arrow

To my fellow Canadians, something to watch out for if they offer you this option

So now when they say they will send the rest later, I tell them no thanks ttth
But I still deal with them, when I have to Duh!

well,
I would have got on the phone and give them an earfull...
if that didn't do anything...I would have felt better letting some steam out.....lol
It probably would have been best to have gotten that "we'll send it to you free" in black & white in writing... Tongue Out
Anyways,
It's crazy....today I recived over $200.00 in stuff from Happs weighing in at 18 Lbs.
Shipped across the country for $18 bucks...why am I so lucky....this time?

Mark

My solution was to get a mail box at the UPS store in the United States, its only a 45 minute drive and
the shipping is about half the price as it is to Canada, best of all no more brokerage fees yes

yes,
I agree with you Wes,
and I remember you telling me once about your shopping solution...
It's best for our Canadian guys to do it that way if you're living fairly close to the border.

Unfortunately Calgary is 5hrs from the nearest border and 6hrs to the nearest UPS store.

If I can I try and get stuff shipped USPS and NOT UPS or Fedex.
