I'm going to put in X-Factor for a while as I like the space look! Any help locating what I need would be appreciated... I have Top glass 3cm and reel strips. Anyone have any game favorites for the dotmation machine I should check out? I'm changing out Big Bang.

My favorite game that I've come across so far is Perfect Match.  I'm a game show fan, though, so the "game show" feel of the game appeals to me.  The 5-line Jackpot Party game is also decent, as is Jackpot Stampeede Deluxe.  Jackpot Party is what's in my machine right now, although I'm (at some point) going to change it over to a Winning Streak kit I bought a while back and have never installed.

Check out Clay's page for the different games that are out there (scroll down about 1/3 of the way):

I had a winning streak and thought it was great, but sold it.  My wife has the Big Bang, and won't let me sell it.  Clay does have some good info on the different games, I would like a Jackpot Party eventually.

Thanks,
Wayne

My first choice would be Jackpot Party or Jackpot Stampede Deluxe. Somehow, JP seems to stay in my machine more than my other DOT kits.

X-Factor is okay, but not great. I like the way that they compartmentalized the dot screen and used red masking to give two of the boxes a different look. The red masking actually makes those screens seem "deeper", which is a cool optical illusion. There is a very cool deep heartbeat sound that occurs each time that you get to 9 power points. Play, however, is somewhat average.

Winning Streak is a good game when you hit long winning streaks (no, I'm serious). It gets boring IMO when the winning streak dot spins always seem to lose after only two or three spins. I would recommend Mermaid's Gold, but if you're changing out a machine that originated as a Big Bang, the door won't have the extra buttons for the game. I haven't played Perfect Match, but it's high on everyone's list and I'd buy the kit if I were looking and it were available.

I keep one game for Jackpot Party or Money to Burn (not because of the 5L reel glass, just my fav's). I change the others around often....I would say the order is Safe Cracker,Shopping Spree,Jackpot Stampede deluxe...after that I'll put others in cause I've not played them in a while

I have 97% JP Stampede Dlx ROMs and 95% JP Party ROMs.
that really helps keep those two games exciting.  I like
Mermaids Gold too, but that's on 92%. I also like Money to Burn
dotmation but again only have 92% for that one.  JP Limbo
is 94% i believe, which is good!
