I wanted to get some opinions on the 5 reel S2000 machines. I don't see many any have not found much info on them.

What would a good private sale price be for one?
Are these oddball machines that won't be around long?
What would happen if you needed to cash out and the printer did not work since the seem to be paper only machines?

Thanks in advance for your info.

I love the 5-reeler's myself also.  More action, bigger payouts, I love the 2-button decks where you can bet up to 9 lines and 20 credits per line.  Some of them have bonus rounds with free spins making them all that more fun.  These machines, for obvious reasons are more costly, but worth every penny in my eyes.

Although not yet up on my website, I have 2 very clean machines for sale of this type.  These machines look new inside and out and the reel strips...usually the most critidal issue, also looks like new.  Titles include as listed below and I have access to other titles.

FREE SPIN DOUBLE DIAMOND
TRIPLE DOUBLE STARS

Here is a fun video of one of the machines that points out all the features and has a very cool Bonus Round at the end of the video where I hit a Jackpot of $500.

And here are some pics...I really love the look of these machines and at least to me, more fun to play than a 3-reeler:

Nice machines archjds.

Thats the next kit I want to get for mine, havent found one yet.(Double Diamond bonus spin).I have a Cleopatra and Double Diamond Run.

Where do you get the LED lamps from?Do you use the same ones for the backlit reels too?

I agree, they are more fun than 3 reelers.Id trade two of my S+'s and some cash for another 5 reel.

Great info. I did not know some had bonuses. I looked at the IGT site, but they did not give those kinda details.

What do you think would be the max I should pay from a private party without getting too upside down on it. I usaully get bored after about six months and "upgrade" to something different. Don't want too loose too much on it down the road.

Thanks,

I would love to find a set of those newer Cleopatra strips. I have the older style and they are faded.

Anyone have any of the newer strips available?

Rob

Forgot to ask you 5 reel guys..

Are your backlit reel bulbs on all the time, but very dim when not showing a winning payline or in idle mode.
If this is the way they should be,I guess IGT designed it like that so it would add life to to bulbs, not a shock to them turning on.

When the machine is turned on the bulbs remain in a dimmed state or standby mode.  This is a normal.
