I finally was able to get all the pieces I needed to complete my Bonus Sizzling 7s kit.  (Thanks to April for the final piece of glass I needed!)

Since this game isn't well documented anywhere, I figured I'd start a thread to try and put all the known info into one central place, with links to previous threads that have discussed the game.

Bonus Sizzling  7's Available Programs:

SS011960 99.003% (3 Coin BAP)
SS7088 97% ($1 denom, per the PAR sheet) (3 Coin BAP)
SS7091 95% (3 Coin BAP)
SS7090 92% (3 Coin BAP)
SS8469 90.011% ($1 denom, per the PAR sheet) (3 Coin BAP)

SS012282 97% (2 Coin BAP, appears to use "ABB" reel strips)

It's a Type 25 game, and uses SP0944, SP0949, or SP1289 (all believed to be 10mhz, ID023, SET058 or SET076)

Discussed in these threads:

If anyone has additional information to add to what I've got here, please post or PM me and I'll update this post.  Thanks!

...and I'll be the first to post a reply.   Duh!

Does anyone have any pictures of the light bar mounted in a 9" chop top machine, or a picture of the bracket that is used for a 9" machine?  My light bar came with the round top mounting bracket, and I'm trying to figure out how to mount the thing in my 9" machine.   Scratch Head  Thanks in advance!

I mounted mine in a 16" top Kev....!
It could probably work for a 9" as well...
Save the other part for a RT if you decide to put it one later on...
first I removed the large RT bracket from the lightbar...
I used a couple of angle brackets and drilled out hole to fit some nuts and bolts.
I then stuck a couple of large washers under
where it's attached to the top of the topbox so the right height was achieved.
the next cabinet I make will have smaller 3/8 to 1/2" wooden
trim so more of the top of the award glass will be exposed...>>>

Here's a couple of pictures looking at the angle
brackets I picked up at my local hardware store .
I have that attaches the lightbar to the "roof" of the topbox.
The angle of my camera is sort of pointing straight up...
The first pic is the left bracket,
the second pic is looking up at the right bracket...
You can see the big washers I used to lower the brackets
so they would in effect, have the correct height when the award glass is back in place>>>

Finally, I stood back and snapped a picture of my homemade topbox and cabinet!...
It's not finished yet...I want to install a DBV and a handle...lol
By the way, total cost? not more than $180.00 for everything...including extra parts!>>>

Thanks again Kevin. I wish that I had something to add, but I don't know of any other SS chips, and my game is installed in a Round Top.

Actually, you can add SP1289 to the list of game chips. propeller   S/B 10 MHz. ID023, SET058, SET076

Mark-

Thanks for the pictures.  That's some pretty crafty work you've done there!   applause  I can't easily drill into the roof of my top box, but your brackets have given me some ideas and reaffirmed some others I had.

Stat-

I didn't know about the 1289 -- thanks!  I added it to this page as well as the master SP/ST list sticky topic (it wasn't in there, either).  What is the "S/B" you listed before 10MHz?

"Should Be". The PSR doesn't say, but usually no news is 10 MHz news. Tongue Out

I'd like to add that if anyone has the SP1289 available for purchase, I'm your buyer.  wave wave wave

Updating this thread with S-2000 Bonus Sizzling 7's info.

Here's a thread from January/February 2010 talking about installing the game in a S2000:
http://newlifegames.net/nlg/index.php?topic=6356.0

SB100021 is confirmed to work with it.  SB100024 is believed to work with it.

The game can use DSV00042 or DSV00015, and has been confirmed to work with running GME SG000363 & Version VSO11GX1.

Thought I'd show this off.
Finally was able to find time to get this together.
Has a ChamII+, and a hit allready.
Cham did not reset, I'll work on that.

Looks great, Ed!

It looks like your machine was not set to pay the progressive upon hitting the top award (your credit meter shows it paid 1000, which is the normal non-progressive amount for that hit), if that helps to point you in the right direction to fix it.

I believe that the progressive display should have been a solid red color when hitting the Jackpot.
But, would the 15,688 credits win have shown up on his "Hand-Pay display if he had it set up right?

By the way, fantastic looking machine ed!
