First off, I would like to say that I am new to the forum and have spent a decent amount of time looking around and trying to find an answer to my question but haven't found just the right one yet.

I am now an owner of an IGT Double Jackpot slot machine (Model # 9640050R). I bought the machine yesterday off a guy on Craigslist. I went to his house and he showed me the machine. I put quarters and bills into it and everything worked correctly. I even hit a "decent" payout in only a few pulls. I decided that I wanted the machine and paid him for it. After I paid him he took out all of the quarters he had in the machine by hand. There were still a few quarters left in the machine and he decided to insert a $20 bill into the machine and then hit cash out to get the remaining quarters. He did that and did not clear the remaining credits. He turned the machine off, unplugged it and got it ready for me to take home. When I got it home (after a good hour of trying to get it out of my car) I loaded the hopper with $200 in quarters like he recommended me to do. I plugged in the machine and turned it on and of course got the 3300 error. I know that the hopper is not empty but is there something that I might be overlooking? Could there be a wiring problem or something? Like I said before, the machine was working properly at his house just a few hours ago.

Things I have tried:
- Adding coins to the hopper
- Removing the hopper, checking for jammed coins and lose wires.

I don't know what else to do. The guy who sold me the machine does have a tech guy that he called when he had problems and I have his number. After reading about this error I was hoping that it would be something easy I could fix, I don't know about that for sure now. Please help me out. I appreciate all of your input. Thanks in advance. Also let me know what else you would like me to post about the machine. Here are two pictures below, I don't know if they help or not.

Open the door, Press and hold the SELF TEST button for 3-4 seconds until it dings. Close the door. The reels should spin and the error should be cleared.
There is probably a S+ manual in the Submit a NewFile area and it has a guide on how to clear common errors.

There is a white button behind the ON/OFF switch that I hit and it brought me to some testing menu. I was able to get the hopper to eject 10 coins which is good but once I completed all the tests I still had a 3300 error. I have seen other machines that had a button right next to the ON/OFF switch. Was that supposed to be the Self Test? If so, would my button be located somewhere else?

Some machines have the white test/setup button in front next to the on/off switch and some have it mounted where yours is. It's the same button.

When you close the door of your slot, make sure that the door lever is pushed down all of the way. The optics need to be aligned for the machine to see the door as closed. You should also make sure that the door to the cash box is completely closed. It can often be the culprit if it doesn't have a lock on it.

While you're at it, (with the power OFF) take out the hopper and pull the MPU board. Check for loose quarters in the machine. They can get into all sorts of nasty little places during a move. Check around the power supply, under the motherboard (that's the small board that the MPU plugs into), etc. For future reference, it's always a good idea to do this before powering up any machine that has been transported. When you replace the MPU, make sure that it's well seated, and do the same for the hopper. (Okay, that's the main reason that I asked you to pull them. Tongue Out  rotflmao rotflmao)

Thank you all for your advise. It was very helpful. It appears that when I transported the machine the door optics got slightly misaligned causing it to not register. I tightened the screws and got it realigned and everything is working perfectly. Thanks again for your help. Now on to the weekend project with my cousin of building a stand for this machine!
