Slot ARM HANDLE Help

 Anyone know how the arm handle comes off ? The "end cap" is NOT on the "hub" this type handle.

 Theres a 2" Allen Bolt on the bottom of the hub. The handle arm itself won't unscrew ( if it is supposed to ).

 The "hub" appears to hold the handle assy. on by compressing against the mechanism shaft. Thus by tightening the allen screw.

 What am I missing here to get this thing off ?

What platform ? IGT S+, S2000, Bally, Sigma, Aristocrat, ??? etc

  It's a Bally 5000. Black Gold.

 I don't want to bend it. But my guess is by removing the allen bolt, the compression on the hub should release a little and I'd guess the whole arm assy "should" slide off ( ???? ). The arm doesn't seem to unscrew like the other arm handles that I have replaced.

 Strange.

 MAN ! Do I feel like a moron. I just figured it out.

 Theres a bolt ON THE INSIDE of the machine on the handle mechanism.( DUMMY ! ) I removed the bolt, the arm handle hub came right off....Whalla !

 No one did suggest anything because ( my fault ) I didn't mention the type machine.

 Just by chance I glaced at the other side of the mech and it hit me like a ton of bricks ( called myself some few choice words ).

 I've been a tech for 25 years ( just never worked on slot machines ) , it just goes to show that you shouldn't look over the obvious. But it's apart and repaired now.

 I'm sure I'll need more slot help in the near future.
