Hello all, Does anyone have a Slant top PE+ Video Poker with a Jackpot bell in it?
The manual I have does not show any info about slant tops. If anyone could possibly
help me out as to where it hooks up to, Or plugs into? That would be much appreciated!
Thanks for all the help!   Jim........ Hail

Connector for Bell on the motherboard is:

S+
Upright -- J11
Slant Top -- J14

PE+ -- J14

S2000/Vsiion -- Cabinet connector J135 Orange and Yellow/brown wires, most likely either hanging loose or wire tied to other wires near the cabinet I/O

Yes, J14 is a 2 pin on the board, But the plug on the bell is different. Scratch Head
Looks like another wire goes in between the board and the bell.
 Thanks!!!   Jim..

Looks like we need to make a jumper harness. I will check around radio shack and see if I can find the correct plugs to make the harness. Mine needs to be about  foot long , how about yours

That sounds like a good idea!!  A foot looks pretty close for mine, I think I would go for about 2 feet just for a bit more room to play with. Thanks for the info!!

Checked a couple of places and nobody local carrys the plug we need for the bell harness. Radio shack has one close but it is too big and they do not offer the smaller one. I have one more place to check but can"t get there till the weekend. After that...cut off the plug and improvise arrow arrow

The 2 pins are actually soldered directly to the motherboard...
if you carefully remove the motherboard and place it on a benchtop,
under good lighting and magnification,
you can carefully lift the black plastic housing up cleanly off the pins
without pulling the pins out of the motherboard
and use female sockets instead going to the bell...

                     OR

You can pick them up at mouser.com
Click on the link below, open the sheet and look down on the left hand corner....
You'll see the 2-pin housing...
Type in the manufacturer number in the search box at mouser
and you'll see it pop up for .11 cents apiece.
On the right hand corner of the catalog page
you'll see the female crimp-style receptor pins that will fit your pins on the motherboard.
Remember, the 2-pin circuit is your "circuit size".
The EDP number is: 50-57-9402.

Type that number into the search box....
Here's some links to what you're looking for next time you want stuff! yes

Connection at motherboard not a problem...The connection to the bell harness that is at least a foot short is a 2 pin molex mini connector square one end and and pointed other end total of 3/8" wide that is the problem. We could just lop it off arrow but were trying to keep it neet and OEM looking. And if I want to sell the bell (or if my widowed wife does  frying pan frying pan frying pan) I would like it OEM condition without the connector cut off. no Have a big old electronics store not far from here I will try this weekend. They have everything and the price to match knockout But how much could a connector cost Scratch Head Scratch Head Scratch Head Without Happ's shipping applause

Hello again, Well I got my bell hooked up today! And it is pretty loud  Tongue Out
There is a guy here in Lake Havasu with a small business called Havasu Slots.  Havasuslots.com
Anyway, he had some wiring harnesses from some old machines and we pieced together a connector
that plugged in between the bell and the board (J14) So I did not have to cut anything!
Thanks to everyone on the board for the help!!      applause
