Anyone have a solution for disabling the noisy coin/credit counting meter on the side of the Sigma U1700 Video Slot without causing an error ?  I tired disconnecting the wire leads going to the meter directly and this produced an instant error that only cleared after re-attaching and re-booting...

Thanks,

Take apart the counter case and remove the solenoid spring?
The spring is what snaps the counter pawl from the solenoid inside the counter case.
This way, with all the wires still intact, the machine will still "think" that it moved the counter gears ...

Turn the reset key and you can turn the meters off under the options. Tongue Out
