There's a good price right now on a Panasonic Viera TC-L32X1, it is a very highly rated set and even has an IPS panel, which has richer colors than the cheaper TN panels found thoughout the 32" lcd's priced in this range.  It even comes with an Ipod Dock that can be used to view and listen to your ipod music and videos.  The only drawback it's that it's a 720p set, but at 32", the visual difference between it and a 1080p panel is not all that noticeable.

Price today is $389.00 and it ships free.  Tax if you live in California.

Newegg is a GREAT place to buy electronics! I have always been happy with them.
WAL*MART is going nuts on TV's these days. Bought this Vizio 55" 120hz 1080P
for the bedroom. As is get older I tend to need glasses, this way I can watch TV in bed without them.
No more trashed glasses in the morning Smiley

I was doing some research on it to see what reviews people gave it, and found it from Buy.com for $349.00 and free shipping:

http://www.buy.com/prod/panasonic-tc-l32x1-32-widescreen-720p-lcd-hdtv-12-000-1-contrast-ratio/q/loc/111/210808012.html

I am in the market for a nice flat panel TV, but I don't have nor plan to get an iPod, which looks to be one of the major selling points of this TV.

Audio/Video from satellite RCVRS to a flat panel in the bathroom. I like to watch TV while in the jacuzzi tub or shower in the morning. Too lazy to drill holes. That closet right there has all the dat/phone/communication/alarm/camera racks in it Smiley

Hello all!

I will be buying a new LCD TV to replace my 35" Tube TV sometime between now and Christmas.  Looking for between 42" and 47" and hoping to spend in the $600-$1000ish range.  Anyone want to suggest any?  Is there a better time I should wait for (i.e. Black Friday, right before Xmas, right after Xmas, etc...)?  From what I can tell I want a 1080p, at least 120Hz LCD - sound right??

I see you have a two way radio farm growing on your dresser

are those HAM radios or Volunteer Fireman radios or just 2 ways for hunting or scanners to listen in on the next door neighbors baby monitors hoping to hear something good?

(just curious..I have ALL of the above!)

First thing I learned is that if you post a pic here, it will be gone over with maginifers, crime scene software and anything else you can think of...happended to me with one of my first posts  rotflmao

Can you double check where?  I searched Geeks.com and a couple other sites and can't find anything close to that price for a refurb Vizio....

Thanks!  I will watch that auction - but it ships freight - which they estimate at $135 and that company has received 5 negative feedbacks in the last 30 days...

Also that one is only 720p.

Hey.
Have you guys tried plugging a computer on these LCD's?
The big 42"'s and 32"'s? Does it look like on your regular
desktop computer screen or does it look like a comic book?

YES!
I use the 55" Vizio in the bedroom to watch Hulu.com online and it looks fine. This is with a netbook. it depends on the video card (Controller) in the PC,but if you set the computer to the MAX the LCD can handle it will look nice.
