SP1271 separate hopper, jackpot, credit and BV limits or SP1137 (tokenization, Montana style credits)

SS4695 98.036 (97.965)

The term "tokenization" does not refer to tokens. It refers to a slot that has been set up to give multiple credits for one coin. For example, you might set up a machine that accepts and pays out quarters as a nickel denomination, and then "tokenize" it to give 5 credits for each coin inserted. The dbv would give 20 credits per dollar, since the denomination is 5¢, and 5 credits for each coin (quarter) inserted. It would also pay out only one coin for every 5 credits on the meter when cashing out.

As home slot owners, we can use this feature for more creative uses, since we don't have to worry about the value of the coins that we use matching up with the bills that we insert. It is common for home users to set up the machine to give 99 credits for each coin.

For what it's worth, a chip that supports tokenization does not require you to use that functionality -- you can still use your coins and bills as normal if you desire.

Let's back up a few steps -- can you please be a little more specific with what you mean by wanting to "upgrade" your game chip and reel chips?  Are you wanting to get a higher payout percentage chip in the machine?  Do you want a chip that will count up the credits faster?  Are you wanting a tournament chip for your game?

For the record, SS4245 is a Double Diamond Deluxe.  Though Foster got it right as far as the SS reel chip is concerned, that is the highest paying chip. Though I'm not so sure you'd want to spend the money to do that.  The difference between what you have (which has a 97.405% payback) is not that much worse than the top paying chip of 98.036%.  The win frequency is about the same (6.76 vs 6.78), so I don't think you'd notice any difference for home use.

I would uprade the SP chip to an sp1271 to give you separate credit limit, hopper limit.  That alone is worth it.

Aah, well if it's a deluxe then scratch my suggestion of a tournament chip.
